What a dispointment!

According to Top 10 Reviews 2010 this is the top rated sync software on the market... WHAT???  I'm a power user and this software severly disappoints!  I read that it syncs Outook files which I would find useful.  I has a predefined library but I could find no way to add a custom library so I could sync my development files (and only my development files).  Additionally, I activited the software on my laptop.  After activating it I had to change the name of my system.  So I deactivated it, changed the name, and clicked on the activate button... Right?  Wrong!  There is no activate button to reactive it once it has been activated...  At least I can't find one.  I suppose I have to uninstall the software and reinstall it to get it reactivated.

All in all I feel I have wasted my time and money on this poorly written package.  So much for Top 10 Reviews "independent" reviews.  Are they getting paid off or what?  They rated GoodSync number 2 because it can't sysc Outlook's individual records, but it is twice the program of Syncables at less than half the price.  Top 10 Reviews doesn't even mention the backup software I use which is the best on the market.  If this is posted and anyone reads this I strongly caution you against relying on anything Top 10 Reviews publishes!

I'm also disappointed as subfolders cannot be included and it'll take far too long to add every one (and their subfolders)!

I think I'll go back to a programme called "Backer".

If knew what I know now about this software I would of never of purchased it, this doesnt work with one of the most popluar firewalls like norton. There is no reactivate button if you have purchased a new computer to link up with your account. The staff on the help section seen to loose interest when your ticket request has been open for sometime. I also went on the reviews next time I will do more research on the software before purchasing, I am now drafting a full complaint for my money back and I would suggest the same to all of you.

I fail to see how this became a highly rated product. Like most power users I have more than the available four directories to back up and files other than videos, photos, and music, and documents. This was a total waste of money.

It makes absolutely no sense. I registered my laptop with it and my Android phone, and downloaded the Android app. I took a couple of pictures on my phone, synched them - the phone said they'd synched, but they never appeared on the laptop. I then created a text file in a designated folder on my laptop to see if that would synch with my phone - and it appears to "synch" to my phone, I need to physically connect my phone to the laptop.

Well, what's the point of that? If I physically connect my phone to my laptop, I can copy stuff anyway - why would I pay $30 to use a piece of unintuitive software like this to copy it over?

A free trial came bundled with my laptop but with no documentation - and the video "tour" on here leaves me none the wiser.

I agree, I hoped to have something like Allsync where I could select a folder across computers to sync a single folder--this software tries to create a new one, is not flexible and very slow!

I am considering a legal challenge to Top 10 Review.  This software does not help the user at all.  It is not very good.  I will await the reply from the software house: I will of course not hold my breathe! A UK doctor.

I am very disappointed too. Firstly the program stops syncing when the screen saver activates. Secondly there is no flexibility to sync different folders simultaneously in different directions (whether is Pull on one folder and push on another), The other thing the program is slow, and because there is no indexing it starts syncing the whole folder again instead of seeing whats missing. If the above mentioned can be rectified along with the previous comments... then I believe it will be a good software but for now, I think I might need to go purchase Allway sync pro i have used the freebie in the past and works a treat.

What planet were the reviewers of the top ten, when they were testing this software, because it's very inaccurate.

I have had a problem with loging onto the program on my new laptop, and the help desk just keep redirecting me to.... the help desk ! and after reading what some of the others have writen and not being half as clever as the Power users.... I thinks I have two hopes of sorting this software out and one is called Bob ! sounded good though !

Purchased the software3 days ago and received my Activation key by Email that doesn't work.  I submitted a request for a new code or a solution ... still no response from anyone.

Funny that they don't have a toll free number or even just a regular phone number that they can be reached.

Why can I not get an activation key?  The web site claims it has sent it many ties.

My activation key doesn't work either - it's been seven days.  Does anybody want to welcome me to the the club? I have already paid my $39.95 initiation fee.

Yes - it sounded so hopeful.   A product bundled with a netbook, but it turns out to be only a 7 file demo, you cannot get an activation key sent even to try it with that limited set, there are reports that it will not synchronise subfolders unless specified individually,  the documentation only mentions particular file types without anywhere using the phrase 'all file types' (suggesting that iso, zip, kml, etc suffixes will not be copied) and the demo also shows copying a single file.  Not a convincing demo when my aim is to synch about 12000 files over 700 folders.  No support either, so I think it's a 0/10.  Not at all impressive.  I've used Microsoft's sychtoy very successfully in an XP environment but there are suggestions of shortcomings with W7.

Well that was $39.95 down the drain.  I to was suckered in by the top 10 pick.   I have had good luck in the past, but this time I guess it is pay back time.  Still looking for a good sync program because this one does not work very well.  I would give it a 4 out of 10 at the best.  Tech support, what is that?  I sure can't get any.  Looks like I an in a pretty big club of people that are not happy with this software.

Try the following emails, I demanded my refund and got it in the end, I believe they have a deal with the review site to put them at no.1,  (

VP Sales and Marketing) Cell Number 415-320-7909, ,  at Syncables).
