It is strongly recommended that you do not change the name of your computer after it has already been setup.

Whenever you setup your shared computers, Syncables Desktop references the computer name and stores it permanently in the application’s database. This is the information that is used to detect and display computers in the “Shared Computers” tab.

If you change the name of the shared computer after it has already been setup, it corrupts the database and you will no longer be able detect or sync to that computer.
