How can I install Syncables on my other computers?

Every license of Syncables Desktop or Syncables 360 comes with a companion license that you can install on another computer. To install your companion license, go through the following steps:

  1. Make sure that you have a removable storage device handy – USB thumb drive, or SD card. You will need this for transferring the companion license and installing on your other computers.
  2. Plug in your removable storage device to your computer – make sure that is it properly connected and detected by your computer!
  3. From the Syncables Desktop or Syncables 360 application, choose the “Setup Another Computer” option (located on the left side of the application), and follow the instructions to transfer the companion license to your removable device.

  4. Once the transfer is completed, remove the device and plug it into your other computer.
  5. Use the file explorer to open up and browse the content of the connected device.
  6. Click on the appropriate “*.exe” (for Windows installation), “*.dmg” (for Mac installation), or “*.bin” (for Linux installation) file, and follow the instructions to install the companion license.

I can't even get to the .exe.   The option to "Setup Another Computer" doesn't appear on the left side of my application.  Is this something that can be downloaded?

In the version I have (I can't determine what number it is) the button to put the installation file on the USB drive or SD card is on the right and says Download Companion License.

Otherwise these instructions worked for me.

I can't even get Syncables 360 on my original computer (ASUS 1015PN) to recognize either a USB drive or an SD card.  On one occasion, I left it for about five minutes and it finally recognized the USB flash memory but then had a "problem" writing to it.  I agree:  Syncables is not a very good application.

When I try to copy the license for transferring it into my other (FIRST ONE!!!) computer (in my case from a Netbook to a Notebook) the .exe file ISN'T COPIED, and so not available on my USB thumb drive. Just the other files show up, such as the Icon file, etc. Why? How can I solve this problem and how can I perform my sync???

I am trying to install syncables 360 to my computer after installing it on the Nextbook I just purchased ,there is supposed to be a limited free version that comes with the Nextbook for your PC. All I could find is the version that you have to purchase when I went to the Web site  (syncables.com)
